Stefanie Conduit

Steffi graduated from the University of Nottingham in 2018 and then came to Oakham to complete her internship. After this Steffi worked for the University of Nottingham leading an ambulatory final year rotation at Pool House Equine Hospital whilst completing a Master’s in Veterinary Medicine investigating pain management in osteoarthritic horses. In January 2022 she started an Equine Internal Medicine Residency at Oakham and since then has become a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Nottingham. 

Steffi enjoys all areas of internal medicine but she particularly loves emergency and critical care medicine. She also has an interest in anaesthesia and is responsible for the equine anaesthesia teaching for the vet students at the University of Nottingham and assists in teaching our interns how to perform equine anaesethesia when they first start with us, and supports them throughout their internships.  

In her spare time Steffi loves to spend time with her husband Josh, and her two Staffies Baloo and Nala.
