Branduardi’s stunningly compact frame gives him the ability to move expressively and fluently with three exceptional paces. His trainability is highlighted by his outstanding temperament, which has stood out throughout his entire career. As a young horse he started training with Kathrin Meyer Zu Strohen and at only 5 years old qualified for the 2011 World Breeding Championships in Verden. Branduardi

He was later purchased by Caunton Manor Stud to continue his competitive career in the UK, where he eventually was based at Carl Hesters yard with Amy Woodhead. Also at the time, the residence of his half brother Barolo, who achieved 70% scores at Grand Prix with Charlotte DuJardin. Branduardi moved up the small tour levels successfully with Amy, where he achieved scores over 70% at Prix St Georges and Inter I, also competing Internationally. He is continuing his career and working towards Grand Prix.

His father Breitling W has sired a series of absolutely top-rate horses, clearly demonstrating his absolutely spectacular gene pool. His progeny have accumulated more than €100,000 in lifetime competition winnings and include Burgpokal winner Blind Date, the mare that won the CHIO Aachen Small Tour in 2009. Baldessarini W has won Grand Prix classes and her full brother Balmoral W won international Inter I and Prix St. Georges classes as a seven-year-old.

Branduardi’s Dam Sire was the legendary Weltmeyer, who was the 1986 winner of the stallion licensing in Verden, and the 1987 winner of the stallion performance test in Adelheidsdorf. As of today, Weltmeyer has produced 70 licensed sons, all of them are excellent stallions. A study of the pedigrees of many internationally prominent Hanoverian dressage horses reveals that many are either by sons of Weltmeyer or out of one of his daughters.

Branduardi is now an Approved licensed stallion with the AES and will soon be licensed by the BHHS for 2020. During his licensing with the AES he scored highly above 8.5 for both his trot and walk, and scored over a 9 for his excellent canter.

Branduardi in-between breeding in 2019 was competing on the Premier League circuit with Amy Woodhead. He picked up some great results, scoring over 70% in the Intermediare I at Somerford Premier League, directly qualifying for the National Championships at Stoneleigh.
