Hospital Assistant - Small Animal
To help us provide gold standard levels of care to our customers and patients, we are looking for a Hospital Assistant to help our clinical and customer care teams.
Duties for this role include, but are not limited to; animal handling, restocking and cleaning of consultation rooms, kennels and other patient handling areas, general cleaning/tidying, administration and reception duties as required. The role is key to the smooth running of the hospital.
We are looking for someone who is self motivated with a keen eye for detail and is passionate about hygiene. They should also have previous experience of working with animals, be happy to communicate professionally with clients and work flexibly as part of a team. Good IT skills and attention to detail are essential.
Full training will be provided.
This is a part time role of approx 20 hours but will include weekend and weekday hours on a rolling rota.

Customer Care Advisor - Maternity Cover
We are looking for someone to join our Customer Care Team - initially to cover maternity leave.
As the first contact with our clients the Ideal candidate will demonstrate caring and efficient customer-service skills supported by the ability to work under pressure. Effective comminication and numeracy skills are essential as is the flexibility to cover staff holidays and absences.
Experienced with office IT, word-processing and data handling, they will be a team-player, conscientious and organised with a "can do" attitude. Experience of owning or working with animals would be advantageous but empathy with pet owners is essential.
Actual hours are yet to be decided but the role will be a minimum of 24 hours a week between 8am and 8pm Mon - Fri with some weekend hours included.

Registered Veterinary Nurse
40 hours/week - OOH restricted to inpatients.
RVNs with at least 3 years’ post-qualification experience, gained in a busy practice, are encouraged to join our supportive, friendly and experienced clinical team.
