Amelia Dux

BVetMed, MRCVS

Amelia qualified from The Royal Veterinary College in 2010 and initially started work as a farm animal vet in Kent.  After a couple of years working exclusively with farm animals Amelia realised that she missed the challenges and variety of working with small animals as well.

Amelia then spent some time working as a locum vet in a number of small animal practices as well as neutering cats and dogs in a spay clinic in Malaysia. On her return to the UK she has spent the last couple of years working as a mixed animal vet in Leicestershire focusing on small animals and farm animals.

Amelia has decided to finally give up farm animal work and focus on working with small animals. She has a wide variety of interests in small animal practice including soft tissue surgery.

In her spare time Amelia enjoys walking in the countryside as well as dancing.
